In 1977, Jaytech, Inc. was founded as a Minnesota corporation with a commitment to producing high quality specialty water treatment products for boilers and cooling towers in commercial and industrial use. Today, as a nationwide supplier, we have products for these as well as:

• Hot and chilled hydronic systems
• Potable systems
• Wastewater systems
• Clarifiers

Jaytech’s commitment to excellence led us into the early development of solid products for the water treatment industry. Traditionally, the industry had used liquid and powdered chemicals delivered in large, industrial drums. These cumbersome drums have been the cause of back injuries, employee chemical exposure and other safety problems. While there is still some need for the older products, Jaytech began testing and developing encapsulated solid water treatment products early on to provide customers with products that offer some obvious advantages, including:

• Hands-off management of chemicals which eliminates personnel exposure to the hazards of dust, odors or dangerous spills.
• Improved feed reliability which improves operation and minimizes potential damage to equipment.
• Reduced shipping charges, water consumption, product loss and disposal issues. Plus maintenance personnel spend less time handling products.
• Fewer workers’ compensation claims due to back injuries and exposure to chemicals.
