In 1992 our freezer facility was built with ammonia compressors. We had a lot of problems with our treatment systems to adjust to the changing temperatures and keep the towers clean. We tried different companies with no results.
We have been with Jaytech for about 5 years and the results are excellent. Mark Juhl started us on his (solid chemical) program and after a year, I noticed great improvement. We used less chemical for better results and the towers are cleaning up to almost like new.
The service technicians are great. They check everything once a month and make sure everything is working. I would recommend them to anyone that has water treatment problems.
Sincerely,

To whom it may concern,
Anyone who is considering a business relationship with Jaytech is well on their way to accepting the service and technical knowledge that will keep their mechanical equipment in excellent working order. We've used Jaytech on an as-needed basis for the chemical analysis and service products needed to keep our equipment working well. At the beginning of this year, we were able to initiate a full service agreement for continuous support. We continue to be pleased with the results that we see. I'm especially grateful with the on-site training (at no additional cost) that our Jaytech representative has given to our mechanics concerning the day-to-day boiler checks that we have to perform.

Great service, product safety and the ease of the auto feed system equals an excellent overall program. We switched from liquids to solids and are not switching back.

Jaytech's products have made our buildings much safer, no more handling of 55 gallon drums. The products have given us great performance and we receive excellent and courteous service. A great program.

Re: Automatic boiler feed control system
Hello Mark,
I just wanted to let you know that the boiler feed control products from Jaytech work better than any that I have ever tried. I have been employed as the Building and grounds director for Regis High School for 22 years. I have tried other boiler control products from three different companies and none of them have been as easy to use and test as yours. Solid-Safe technologies products have been working very well for me. The testing is very simple, and keeping the chemical in the boilers at the correct level is very easy with your system.
Anytime that you or your company would like to show your products and system you are more than welcome to visit our facility. Any clients that you would like to come are welcome also. Any customers that want to call and ask me questions can call the number listed below. Thanks again for a great product.

As you know, in the spring of 2008 I took over the Maintenance Supervisor position for my school district. At that time we had some serious issues with the water treatment of our steam boilers and cooling towers. With the help of Jaytech we developed a program where the building engineers took ownership in the maintaining the proper chemistry of the water/steam treatment. Initially we were spending thousands of dollars per year in tube failure replacement and in plugged heat exchangers needing to be cleaned and or replaced. Since the program has been in place last year, boiler repairs were less than half and this year there were no repairs needed. Cooling tower heat exchangers were being replaced on an annual basis and now they are running clean and efficient. We had eddy current testing done on our chillers, they are 15 years old, and we were told the tubes are like new!!!! Before the program some of the tubes you couldn't get a brush through to clean them. What a loss of efficiency!!! The mechanical contractor who performs the annual service contract said in the seven years he has been servicing our chillers he has never seen them this clean. I would like to say thanks to Jaytech and to my guys out in their buildings for the attention to detail and taking ownership of the water treatment. Jaytech and my guys are making me look good. Thanks a million.

For over 3 years now we have been using the Jaytech EnviroTech solid boiler treatment products. I have been very impressed with how easy it is to maintain our boilers at a consistent level of treatment. Our boiler inspector has referred other districts to contact me to get them to use the product as well. With the simplicity of testing and treating along with the great results on the interior of the boiler, I don't know that I would ever use another product.

To Whom It May Concern:
I'm sure that there are many people out there in the Facility Maintenance/Engineering profession that can probably say that the best way of learning about problems is when they actually occur. Especially how to fix the problems. You tend to learn the value of 'networking' amongst your peers real quickly. This is especially true in the Ammonia Refrigeration arena for my fellow workers and myself.
We naturally assumed that when using a well-known refrigeration company for its design, installation and well-known products that all was well. We maintain it, service it, inspect it and life is good, right? Well, no.
It was always believed that the quality of water coming into the facility was fine. For those pesky impurities that cause scale, we are utilizing the water treatment system that relies on silica type sand and backwashing to prevent any buildup of scale in the condensing towers. A lot of gadgetry and timers to "filter" the water going in. Works great. Really. Here comes the learning curve — tt works great for what it is designed to do. Going on advice from the initial installer and the manufacturer it was all that was needed at our facility.
We added two new condenser towers during a building expansion, which included another treatment system to match our existing ones. Here again, we're thinking life is good. Upon inspection one day, we noticed a white colored formation appearing on the coils of these new towers. We questioned our water treatment system with the installer as expected. They sent a service technician in along with a "Water Treatment Specialist" who tells us that the coils are covered in "White Rust." Of course, he can fix this with acid cleaning the coils and installing his chemicals to prevent it from coming back. Wait a minute, acid clean new coils? Wasn't the water treatment system that was installed supposed to prevent this type of thing?
I got Jaytech involved at this point after I talked with some of my peers about water treatment and our problems. One guy says calcium deposits; another says White Rust, etc. Jaytech provided me with some very useful, general information on White Rust that has taught us a very valuable lesson at our facility. It explained even further about the galvanizing process on the coils and most importantly the need to passivate the coils. All new language for us. We assumed that the product and installation was good to go.
Lesson learned — talk with fellow peers within the industry. We didn't get any schooling on this. As we opened up this dilemma, we also became more aware of the biological possibilities that could occur. We expected our installer to do everything needed to make sure that we had not only a flawless install, but also operation.
We still use the original water treatment machines we started with. We have now learned how to "help" them work a little better with a solid water treatment program from Jaytech. We have also learned that you can't possibly over research what your vendors and contractors are supposedly doing in your best interests
